McCullah Designs

Growing up around designers and builders, I realized my passion at a young age. My first memories of building are with my Grandfather Orville "Mac". We spent the summers together building everything from bookshelves to hand carved action figures.

Later on I was blessed to learn from gifted craftsmen such as family friend and stringed instrument maker John Mark Hampton. I learned a great deal about design while completing a degree in Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While in college, furniture designer and builder, Rich Priess taught me the art and science of making furniture.

I would describe my work as having a delicate strength, matched with fluidity and purpose. My inspriations come from the perfection of nature and the simplicity of Modern and ArtDeco styles.

I live in Brooklyn, NY and work out of my studio just a few blocks away.
